Thanks for stopping by!

Planning awesome trips is like testing a formula that you keep refining each time you travel. The posts you’ll find here are the product of the innumerable combinations of the following variables. If these sound like your idea of a good time, stay in touch. We’ll have a lot to share!

  • Night markets, snack streets and food tours – the best way to try local flavors! Throw in a cooking class and a visit to a wet market for an even better outcome!
  • Walking tours – history, context, sightseeing & exercise all in one. Student-led tours are the best to connect with local youth and hear about your destination from their point of view.
  • Small museums & cultural sites – gotta love the opportunity to learn about a niche topic relevant to the place you’re visiting.
  • Quality coffee – not all coffees are created equal, and who doesn’t love to check out the local barista scene?
  • Synagogues & Jewish sites – the Jewish diaspora is vast, and there’s a lot to learn.
  • Chinatown – dumplings, noodles and a rich history. Need I say more?
  • Snacks! – I self-identify as a ‘snack-academic’, and I always love trying new snacks from the world!
